If you know these things, blessed are you if you do them.” – John 13:17
It’s Your Body. Choose Wisely!
God has given you the ability to discriminate; to choose wisely; to choose those things that your body needs to be healthy, whole and filled with energy. God in you is infinite wisdom and intelligence always guiding you as you let Him in all that you think, feel, say, and do. You have the divine capacity to think rightly about what to eat and to intelligently regulate your appetite; to choose only food that is right for your body. It is wise to listen for and follow that guidance.
Infinite Intelligence in you knows what your body needs. It is in every cell of your body. Listen to your body. It will tell you exactly what it needs in the way of nourishment and exercise. Do not dismiss this as invaluable. Since Infinite Intelligence is in every cell of your body, your whole body is supremely intelligent and knows what it needs for ultimate health and maintenance. It will tell you when you ask and then listen. Pay attention to your body.
A very important thing to remember is that your body is a temple of the living God. His loving, wise spirit lives in every cell and moves through your consciousness at all times. He is the very life of your body – that which makes you intelligently and positively alive. The more you become aware of this, the healthier you are mentally, emotionally, and physically.
It is also important to remember to feed your body with wise and loving thoughts and words. Tell your body often how wonderful it is! Yes, it really is! It is the only one you presently have, so be nice to it!
Speak Kindly to and About Your Body
Never disparage your body in any way, no matter how it may look or seem to be. One time, in my early years, I worked for a short time in the shoe department of a big department store. Mostly women would come in, try on, and buy shoes. One time a lady whose feet were especially out of shape with sores and calluses all over them, said, “I have bad feet.” Silently, I agreed! Little did she realize that she had helped to make them that way by continually thinking of them as bad.
If part of your body doesn’t seem to function or look as you think it should, then bless that part knowing that God’s perfection permeates it, and give thanks for that particular part functioning perfectly now. As you bless it, it will respond and work even better and will take on a healthier, more beautiful appearance. It is an internal organ it will function more harmoniously and perfectly, too.
Feed Your Body With Alive Foods!
Know that God gives you the ability and the wisdom to choose only alive foods – foods that do not have to be slaughtered or to experience violence in order for you to be fed. Infinite Intelligence in you guides you in selecting only alive foods such as fruits, grains, nuts, legumes, and vegetables. All the nutrients your body needs for proper nourishment are abundantly provided through these excellent sources of food.
As you practice this wise and loving way of eating and feeding your body, you are contributing to the peace, love, harmony, health, and prosperity of the world, as well as to yourself.
Eating in this way provides you with all the strength and energy you really need. This is the way of a healthy, happy, vibrant life. It helps you to have the beautiful, strong and healthy body you desire – one that is truly positively alive! This has been my way of life for nearly thirty years, and people often remark at the healthy appearance of my skin and at my level of energy although I have been on the planet for quite a long time.
When some asks me why I am a vegetarian, I often say, “Animals are my friends, and I don’t eat my friends!” But it is a very spiritual activity that more enables me to know my oneness with all life. It is truly the way of peace and plenty on our planet. But pray for your own guidance and do what is right for you and your body.
